Lessons

Private lessons are specifically designed with your athlete in mind. Instruction is modified based on what each individual athletes needs, meeting players where they are but challenging them at the same time. See below for the various types of lessons offered at this time.

Pitching

You may have heard that the softball pitching motion is natural and softball pitchers can pitch multiple games without fear of injury. That is true IF you have proper mechanics. Mechanics should always be the focus of pitching whether you're a beginner or college athlete. Pitchers, as well as parents, need to understand the natural motion and how to have a long, healthy, successful pitching career.  Book a private lesson to really focus in on the mechanics and fully understand the "why' behind the 'what."

Hitting

Hitting is often a player's favorite part about the game. There is a lot of information out there, and it can be really confusing. Is a softball swing different than a baseball swing? Is "squish the bug" an outdated theory? Schedule a lesson and let's talk about your child's specific swing and how to make her the most successful at the plate.

Fielding

Fielding is a skill that is very specific based on what position an athlete is playing. There's a reason 3rd base is called the hot box and outfielders always hear "First step back." While it is important for athletes to know and understand all positions on the field, specific training in one or two positions can really up an athlete's game. Whether an athlete needs to improve her range or focus on scooping throws at first, a private lesson can help.

Book Lesson

Throwing

"You throw like a girl!"

Throwing is a skill that often gets overlooked in many fastpitch organizations. While it is a fundamental skill taught at an early age, throwing is actually very complex and should be done differently depending on position, target, and situation of the game. A private throwing lesson breaks down the mechanics of throwing overhand and coaches athletes how to throw the ball in different positions with various scenarios. A throwing lesson can be included with fielding lessons or on its own.
